Welcome to AsthmaAlternatives.com. We are based in Los Angles, California and are a part of BOMA-Med, Inc., a clinic for alternative health. Our goal is to help increase awareness regarding the many

We are integrative in our thinking and incorporate many facets of Chinese medicine and Western alternative medicine into our treatment program. We are also happy to work with your doctor to best assist you  to regain your health and stop the underlying causes of your asthma.

The most important message that we offer you in this site is that there is an alternative to suffering from asthma your whole life. Integrating the Western understanding of the human body and disease with Alternative medical concepts allows for a more multi-faceted approach to your body and your health. If you are looking for effective solutions, you will be happy you found us.

Asthma continues to be a growing problem for children as well as adults. More and more people are turning to alternative types of medicine seeking other solutions over traditional treatments for many reasons. In some cases it is because the symptoms persist, while in other cases it is because of the side effects of many medications, and in some more serious cases it is because a person has been told that there is nothing else to be done for them.

Boaz Brizman, L.Ac. has worked with asthma during his 11 year practice helping many people regain their health through acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, and other supplements. In addition to his training in Chinese medicine, his background in fitness health and diet broadens the breadth of his treatment protocols with his patients.

Chinese medicine specifically offers many perspectives on the human body and disease that do not exist in Western medicine. While both medicines are outstanding, finding the combination that works for the individual is key in immune disorders.

Boaz Brizman, L.Ac. works on the underlying causes of the asthma rather than the symptoms. This system, over time allows the provocation of symptoms to recede and therefore the need for medication is also reduced and eventually will no longer be necessary.
